When you refer a patient to Personal Symmetrics, you’re connecting them with specialized post-mastectomy support in a private, respectful setting. Our goal is simple: help patients feel comfortable in their bodies again—while making the referral, documentation, and insurance steps as smooth as possible for your office.
How We Care for Your Patients
We start by listening. We learn each patient’s surgical history, healing stage, reconstruction choice, lifestyle, and comfort goals.
We provide expert, private fittings. One-on-one visits in a discreet setting, with individualized recommendations for bras, breast forms, post-surgical garments, and compression.
We focus on confidence and comfort. Patients leave with clear wear-and-care guidance and feel supported emotionally, with dignity and reassurance at every step.
What You Can Expect from Personal Symmetrics
A referral process that doesn’t add work to your day. You provide the referral, and the patient contacts our office at their convenience to schedule. From there, we handle the visit, education, and insurance coordination so your team doesn’t have to manage the details.
We can provide a ready-to-sign order template so you’re not recreating paperwork.
Insurance coordination that reduces back-and-forth. With patient authorization, we verify benefits, explain likely out-of-pocket costs, and prepare payer-required documentation to support claim submission.
We supply brochures and business cards to make contacting and communicating with our office simple.

Insurance & Billing
For each patient we see, we prepare a detailed Standard Written Order (SWO) and send it to the referring physician when required. A separate prescription is not needed at the time of the patient’s visit; our team will request any necessary documentation directly from your office. Because product types and quantities can be complex, we handle those details based on the patient’s clinical needs and payer guidelines.
We participate with the vast majority of major insurance plans. If we are out of network for a particular plan, we work with the patient and insurer to determine whether out-of-network benefits or prior authorization are available.

NOTE: Important – All contracts are under our parent company RJ Rosenberg Orthopedic Lab.
Billing Process
- In-network: We bill insurance directly for eligible items.
- Out-of-network: We provide a detailed, itemized receipt for potential reimbursement submission (subject to plan rules).
- HSA/FSA: We accept HSA cards for qualified purchases.
