2026 Pink Ribbon Good Cincinnati Region’s Survivor Event: Jungle Party

Personal Symmetrics was proud to be a Warrior Sponsor of Pink Ribbon Good Cincinnati Region’s Survivor Event on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at The Oscar Event Center at Jungle Jim’s International Market. Certified Post Mastectomy Fitter and survivor of Stage 0 breast cancer Kathleen Kauffman attended with her “breasties” and was thrilled to speak with women, hear their stories, and share about Personal Symmetrics’ services. Personal Symmetrics was honored to be part of this meaningful evening. It was a beautiful night of connection, community, food, music, dancing, and celebrating survivorship.

Personal Symmetrics Attends American Breast Care’s Retailer Meeting

Certified Post Mastectomy Fitter Kathleen Kauffman traveled to Marietta, Georgia to attend the annual American Breast Care retailer meeting. She joined fitters and retailers from across the country to tour the manufacturing facility, learn about new products, meet with company representatives, and share ideas about post-mastectomy care.

Certified Post Mastectomy Fitter Kathleen Kauffman — a survivor of Stage 0 breast cancer — was proud to walk in the 2026 Findlay Market Opening Day Parade in Cincinnati as part of Mercy Health / OHC Cincinnati Breast Cancer Survivors group. Dressed in pink tutus and “Swing for a Cure” T-shirts, these amazing ladies brought energy, smiles, and a powerful message of hope, strength, and breast cancer awareness to one of Cincinnati’s favorite traditions.

Personal Symmetrics Helps Paint the Square Pink

Personal Symmetrics was proud to speak to women about its services at the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’s Paint the Square Pink event at Fountain Square during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Attendees enjoyed live music, food, and many important and educational resources about topics like healthy eating, active living, and tips for prevention and early detection of breast cancer.

Clinical Director & Certified Post Mastectomy Fitter Tammy Franklin and Certified Post Mastectomy Fitter Kathleen Kauffman attended the event, speaking to women about Personal Symmetrics’ services and hearing their stories. The festivities were uplifting and inspirational for patients, as well as the community’s survivors, caregivers, supporters, family, and friends. It was great to come together to share love, hope, and healing!

Ryan Spill and Kathleen Kauffman traveled with several other retailers across the country to American Breast Care(ABC) in Atlanta to fabricate some sample breast forms. They have some great skills! They met with the owners of ABC and did a round table with other retailers to share stories, trends, marketing ideas, and more. ABC is an excellent partner, and we are fortunate to be aligned with them!

Personal Symmetrics was proud to be a sponsor and support the KWF mission. Personal Symmetrics Kathleen Kauffman participated with her mom Mary. It was a beautiful day for a wonderful event. This year’s recipient of the gift of fun is going to see The Christmas Carol!

Personal Symmetrics’ Tammy Franklin and Kathleen Kauffman were thrilled to speak with women, hear their stories, and share about Personal Symmetrics’ services. It was an uplifting and inspirational event for survivors, caregivers, supporters, family, and friends to share hope, love, and healing. Proceeds from the event went to Pink Ribbon Good’s mission to support those affected by breast and gynecological cancers. 

Personal Symmetrics Raises Awareness at Kentucky Dragon Boat Festival

September 9, 2023

Personal Symmetrics’ Kathleen Kauffman was thrilled to be a part of the 2023 Kentucky Dragon Boat Festival at AJ Jolly Park on Saturday, Sept. 9, featuring Paddling For Cancer Awareness – p4ca and The Kentucky Thorough-Breasts. Personal Symmetrics sponsored a booth and donated a raffle prize. Attendees stopped by to learn about our exceptional post-mastectomy care and products. It was excellent seeing groups doing #yoga in the morning and cheering on their favorite team! The Kentucky Dragon Boat Festival includes teams of 14-25 people racing dragon boats—large, canoe-like boats—along Campbell County Lake. Paddling for Cancer Awareness and Kentucky Thorough-Breasts are non-profit organizations that seek to defeat cancer and spread cancer awareness through paddling sports. We can never do enough to bring awareness to breast cancer and how women can successfully survive it!

Pink Ribbon Good Cincinnati Region’s Survivor Event: Hats Off to Our Survivors

We are so honored to have been a sponsor of Hats off to Our Survivors on May 2nd!  The event was a Derby-Themed Survivor Celebration by Pink Ribbon Good took place at Little Miami Brewing Co. Event Center. Personal Symmetrics is humbled to serve the Survivor Community. We look forward to meeting new people and families.

It was an uplifting, inspirational, and beautiful event for people coming together to share love, hope, and healing. Personal Symmetrics has been dedicated to providing post-mastectomy services to women in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky for more than 25 years.

Certified Post Mastectomy Fitter Kathleen Kauffman Joins Personal Symmetrics

February 15th, 2023

Kathleen Kauffman has joined Personal Symmetrics as a post-mastectomy fitter.

She has worked in the medical field for nine years and is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati where her field of study was multi-skilled health technician. She also holds medical assistant certification from the University of Cincinnati.

In addition to her “wonderful co-workers,” Kathleen says the best part of her job is “helping patients regain confidence and bringing a smile to their faces.”

A native of Loveland, she enjoys spending time with family, her two dogs and a cat. She also like to line dance. Her favorite sports teams are the Bengals and Reds.

Certified Post Mastectomy Fitter Tammy Franklin Featured in National Magazine

According to CFm/American Board Certified post-mastectomy fitter Tammy Franklin, “What I love most about being a fitter is making a difference! A great bra and a good fitting prosthesis can really help a woman feel so much better about what has happened to her.”

Personal Symmetrics Present at Ethicon Breast Cancer Awareness Fair & UCMC’s Education Event

Recently, CFm/American Board Certified post-mastectomy fitter Tammy Franklin and Personal Symmetrics participated in two breast cancer events to not only share their expertise, but also to meet new people and learn about new resources that can be passed along to their breast cancer survivor clients. First, Tammy and Personal Symmetrics participated in the annual Ethicon Breast Cancer Awareness Fair at the Ethicon Endo-Surgery campus in Blue Ash on October 24. The fair provided attendees with information on all aspects of breast cancer. Second, Tammy teamed up with Linda Higgins for the University of Cincinnati Medical Center’s free education event that took place on November 2 at the Kingsgate Marriott Hotel in Cincinnati. Titled, “Breast Health Prevention, Detection and Treatment: Innovations,” this event covered various topics, including genetic testing, high risk evaluation, breast imaging, metastatic breast cancer, immunotherapy, and supportive needs during the breast cancer journey.
